Dear Final year friends
It was great to see all of you registering in the 1st phase of online
project tracking system at GTU Innovation Council ,
http://projects.gtu.ac.in/
We would like to request you to kindly register your info as required
in phase-2 which will be open till 24th August 2013.
We will launch the phase-3 version of this platform on 25th and you
can submit your data by 5th Sept 2013.
In phase-3 you will be required to share some detailed info about your
IDP/UDP plan along with sharing the patent search report related to
your IDP/UDP.
We have shared detailed material for self study via you tube Chanel of
GTU Innovation Council and soft materials to help you understand the
process of patent search process which will be done in phase-3 of the
online tracking system of the project. You will share a detailed note
about your IDP/UDP online and share the data/findings of patent search
report. We are engaging mentors and faculty members for reviewing all
these online too after phase-3 is complete.

Carefully go through the videos and text docs which will help you in
doing patent search for your IDP/UDP in phase-3 which will be
evaluated as a part of your project too. This will help you know which
part of your IDP/UDP has been already done by any one across the
globe. This will help in increasing your novelty of your final year
projects and make it patentable too by the time you would be
finishing it during your 7th and 8th Sem of IDP/UDP.
During your patent search you might look at similar works which have
been already done or how you can add and improve the existing
process/product to create more value.
